Toronto, Ontario January 12, 2015 - Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (NYSE: BAM) (TSX: BAM.A) (Euronext: BAMA) (“Brookfield”) today announced the pricing of its previously announced public offering of notes due 2025. Due to investor demand, the size of the offering was increased from US$350 million to US$500 million. The notes will have an interest rate of 4.0%. The net proceeds of the offering will be used for general corporate purposes. The offering is expected to close on or about January 15, 2015.
The notes will be offered under Brookfield’s existing base shelf prospectus filed in the United States and Canada.
