Toronto, Ontario January 12, 2015 - Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (NYSE: BAM) (TSX: BAM.A) (Euronext: BAMA) (“Brookfield”) today announced that it is commencing a public offering, subject to market and other conditions, of US$350 million of notes due 2025. Brookfield intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
The notes will be offered under Brookfield’s existing base shelf prospectus filed in the United States and Canada.
