Brookfield Corporation’s Class A Limited Voting common shares are listed for trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol BN (formerly BAM), and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol BN (formerly BAM.A). All preferred shares are listed on the TSX.
Brookfield’s predecessor companies became public and began trading on the TSX in 1902. The present day Brookfield began trading on the TSX in August 1997, and the NYSE in December 2000.

The record date for class A limited voting common shares is on the last day of February, May, August and November. The payment date is the last day of March, June, September and December. More information on payment dates and dates of record for Brookfield’s preferred shares are available here.
Class A Limited Voting Common Shares (“common shares”): The quarterly dividend payable on Brookfield Corporation's (formerly Brookfield Asset Management Inc.) common shares is declared in U.S. dollars. Registered shareholders who are U.S. residents receive their dividends in U.S. dollars, unless they request the Canadian dollar equivalent. Registered shareholders who are Canadian residents receive their dividends in the Canadian dollar equivalent, unless they request to receive dividends in U.S. dollars. The Canadian dollar equivalent of the quarterly dividend is based on the Bank of Canada noon exchange rate exactly two weeks (or 14 days) prior to the payment date for the dividend.
Preferred Shares: The dividends payable on Brookfield Corporation’s (formerly Brookfield Asset Management Inc.) preferred shares are declared and paid in Canadian dollars.
